Two North Carolina Railroad Stations in
MORGANTON
Originally Built and Used By: Southern Railway. Railroad Line - Present: Norfolk Southern
Since the first pictures shown here taken in 1994, the station had been refurbished and used as several businesses.
Because AMTRAK may begin passenger service to Asheville in a couple of years, there may be a new life for this station.
It has been recently been completely restored as shown in the pictures taken in January 2009. The depot currently houses a railroad museum.
