Piedmont and Western Railroad Club
Presents
A North Carolina Railroad Station in
CHERRYVILLE
Originally Built and Used By: Seaboard Air Line Railroad. Railroad Line - Present: CSX. The Depot is now the home of the Cherryville Model Railroad Club and is part of the Cherryville Historical Society.
Restoration began in 1999. The Club has a "Running Transportation Diorama". You might call it a Train Layout but the State of North Carolina says they have to call it that! The Club has an HO layout in the waiting room, and a O scale layout in the back. Hours are 7:00pm - 9:30pm on Thursdays, and 9:00am - 2:00pm on Saturdays.
Visitors are welcome
